Ingredients

onion soup mix

beef broth

Step 1

Sear roast in the olive oil for 2-3 minutes on both sides.

Step 2

Add potatoes, carrots and chopped onions around the roast in the skillet

Step 3

Sprinkle roast with dry onion soup mix and pour beef broth on the vegetables

Step 4

Cover and cook in the oven at 300˚ for 3 - 4 hours till tender
