EASY BAKED MOSTACCIOLI WITH SAUSAGE

Ingredients

MOSTACCIOLI

1 T

italian sausage

olive oil

1 lb

garlic cloves

3 c

15 oz

ricotta

mozzarella

2 c

1/2 c

italian  seasoning

egg

parmesan

Step 1

Cook mostaccioli in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

Brown sausage in a pot with the olive oil, then add the garlic and cook for 1 more minute.

Step 3

Add cooked pasta and gravy or marinara to the sausage garlic mixture.

Step 4

In a bowl, mix the ricotta, mozzarella, Italian seasoning and the egg.

Step 5

Add half of the pasta to a 9x13 baking dish and top with the cheese mixture.

Step 6

Add the remaining pasta and sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top.

Step 7

Cover the dish in foil and bake for 40 minutes at 375˚. Remove the foil and bake 5-10 minutes more to brown the cheese.
