About:
Hi, I'm Amanda! I'm a mom of four, a professionally trained chef, integrative health coach, and the hands and heart behind Scarlati Family Kitchen.
My love for cooking started as a kid in my family's kitchen, and I followed that passion all the way to culinary school. After graduating, I spent over a decade working in the food industry before starting this website to share the food I love with others.
Here, you'll find cozy, from-scratch recipes that are approachable enough for busy weeknights and special enough to shape lasting memories. Everything I create is designed to nourish both body and soul, with a focus on comfort, connection, and care.
After years of cooking, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. That experience shifted how I think about wellness and deepened my belief that food is more than fuel. I decided to go back to school to become an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach so I could help not only navigate my own health journey but also help others do the same.
I love helping others to slow down, savor, and reconnect with themselves and with loved ones. All while keeping a focus on easy meals and delicious flavors that bring everyone around the table.
So, whether you're looking for a cozy pasta dish, a quick family dinner, or a little kitchen inspiration, I'm so glad you're here!
